Any way to remove the gore?

Won a copy of this in a giveaway, and just now realizing how gory it is. Any way to turn off or reduce the amount of gore?

I don't think its possible, especially with the history of Kratos and God of War franchise in general: its pretty much based on extremely violent combats and murder scenes.

I'm afraid this is a staple of the GoW franchise overall - everyone who tries to give Kratos the hands end up as unrecognizable piles of meat. Even this older, calmer Kratos doesn't have much chill. You'll have to get used to it.

But to be fair, my first time seeing the finisher on the werewolves did make me audibly groan, that one is gnarly.
