Even after patch 4 the game does not start

Since patch 3/3.1 the game when it is launched shows it is started in Steam, but it shows no game screen, please fix this!

I am also having that problem. I am getting an error crash report everytime I start the game,

again sony pooped wit hpc port, same story was The Last Of Us, now again must wait for a month to get fixed?

I am more or less certain the issue lies with your PC and not the game itself.
Have you first tried any of the general solutions to issues with games starting?

The fact that its limited to certain users already means that the issue is their machine (be it hardware, software conflict with the game or something else)

bro, with all respect, people got the same issues, game is started but does not launch the proccess, for example, 13900kf+4800+32gb, plus all of us can read and we can find out that verif files is not working, so I think dirty SMS must release the next 1000 fixes to fix it

you can try verifing your windows for errors, with sfc /scannow, and do the DISM command to repair windows (on elevated cmd: DISM /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth (this is the quick one)

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth (this is not as quick but still pretty fast to complete)

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth (this might take a while to complete)

sfc /scannow (this take a while too)

restart pc and try again (anti virus can be interfering with the game, disable it and test, if it launch, make an exception for the game .exe)

well, i have found some action s, which helped me< but I do not know what exactly helped
1) I have deleted "userpreferences" by the path "C:Users[your user name]\Saved Games\God of War Ragnarok[AccountID]\userpreferences"
2) I have started the game with some parametres
- Start this program with admin permition
- Disable fullscreen optimizations
in game i changed some graphic params

Just stop playing on Trash PCs and you have no Problems. This Port is Awesome. Playing on 4k with Max Settings and it runs Awesome just like the GoW from 2018 and The Last of Us was great too.

i totally agree, but i have to say that TLOU was NOT a good port... the shader problem was really annoying, GOW ragnarök is a great port, i guess it's beacuse of no ray tracing

Ok i agree with the constant reload for the Shaders after every Driver Update that was annoying af but TLoU still ran amazing for me. I had 0 Problems.
