game will not run after pressing play.

is anyone having an issue where the game does not run after you press play. steam will show it running but the game will not open. I dint know if this is because of the new patch update. I have tried all steps to open the game clear steam cache, uninstall and install both he game and steam and others and still cannot get the game to open.

I found a few fixes in another thread. if one works for me ill let you know

so for me, I changed the sound setting to a different source (off my headphones) launched it and it worked. than just put back to headphones.

Im having the same issue. I played for several hours then quit game to eat and now it wont start but I will check out the sound settings one

This fix worked for me also but I have to change settings to get into game then back to what they are suppose to be when in game which is something we shouldnt have to do and needs to be fixed

I found a very efficient method (that works for me)!!!!
Just delete the folder "Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc" located in C:\ProgramData\
Then run "install_pspc_sdk_runtime.bat" located in the game folder (founded with right click on game in steam and locate game folder)
It will reinstall Psn and voilà!!!!

Sorry to ear that, maybe it's a write problem about the folder, or maybe a file which install Sony, you'll need to click on PsPcSdkRuntimeInstaller.Msi instead, idk, try it and gl

I found another solution for those who have low fps and can't load the game, it comes from Adrenalin for people have a Radeon, I kill the process named RadeonSoftware.exe, wait a moment and relaunch Adrenalin, and it works perfectly after that.
