Actually many new games require AVX2 including those by Naughty Dog, Alan Wake 2, Horizon FW.
This is just lazy engineering. Those games which have AVX-only exe in addition to AVX2 exe actually perform nearly the same on older CPUs when the game is mostly GPU-bound as this one

I remembered it wrong, it had some F16C instructions troubles which were modded out.
Still my point is AVX2 requirement is mostly artificial and nearly the same performance can be achieved with AVX alone on older multicore CPUs

There is no technical reason for the game to require AVX2. Replace default with SSE4.2. Thx.
