Open World Areas?
I really likes the semi-open world in GoW1. The massive open lake of nine and all of the hidden areas you can discover around there was a lot of fun.

I'm like 20 hours into GoW:R, and it's been extremely linear. I kept expecting to get to the main open world area, but so far haven't found anything like that. I just go to Vanaheim fyi.

Without spoilers, can someone tell me if I'll eventually get to a good ol' open world area? Appreciate it. Good to know if I should continue to have high hopes or not.

This game has even more semi-open world areas than the first game. 20 hours in and you STILL haven't discovered one yet?

Well.. Vanaheim has a massive area to explore, i don't want to spoil it for you so it will be a small tip: After some main quests you will find a dog barking, he is inside the freyr hideout, it's impossible to miss cuz he is on your way and atreus will comment about it, just follow the dog, you won't regret it ;)
