A fix for those having a memory leak issue!
This has been pointed out several times in the past few days, but what they don't point out is that if you're using a bluetooth controller, you have to disable the bluetooth functions on your PC entirely, then plug in a wire. If you don't disable the bluetooth functions, even with the wired connection, the memory leak still occurs.

The only other place I've seen this mentioned was in the Technical Support section of the forums. So, props to that guy for this solution, whoever he is.

I don't have any bluetooth functions activated and still got a memory leak after about an hour.

Well I'm using the standard wireless xbox controller with the windows adapter. If I remove the adapter is that enought

Well I'm using the standard wireless xbox controller with the windows adapter. Gonna try dissable the bluetooth but sounds very strange that a bluetooth signal will have anything to do with Vram on a GFX card....

its a lot more then "1 guy" and it doesn't take that long on these forums to see that. in this case the symptom is being misread as a simple memory leak, but for many people on these forums the simple fix was to plug in their controller, myself included. i didn't think it was a memory leak at first but that's likely because i have 64gb of ram and 24gb of vram, and the game never used anywhere near all of either even when performance degraded to a point of being unplayable. i would assume that those with less available resources are probably hit much harder as well as making it look like a clear case of memory leak.
