Dreki refuses to die
After he's stunned I initiate the execution, game tells me to hold x (I set the setting to hold instead of tap), Kratos does what looks like execution stuff, but after a while he stops and Dreki is in the fight again. I stunned and "executed" him like five times, he always came back. What am I doing wrong?

Solved: changed back the setting from hold to tap and it worked. Well, it's more intuitive anyway.
