Question about playing as Atreus

I'm sorry if this is something that has been talked about a lot, I tried my best to avoid spoilers all these years. I was really enjoying the game, but I'm at the part where you play as Atreus for the second time.

My question is (without anyone spoiling the story if possible), does this end eventually? If it does end, is this the last time I have to play as Atreus? Because this truly is a terrible a long stretch in what was an enjoyable game.

I'm playing on the second hardest difficulty, I usually play the hardest difficulty on a second playthrough, but at this point, I honestly can't imagine ever playing through this BS for a second time unless I could skip through it.

Sorry for the rant, but this is really getting to me.

Lol I thought the same thing when I was going thru that section. Yes, it does end. No, it doesn't get better before it ends.

i don't think thats the last of playing as him. but relatively there isnt much, the vast majority of this game is as kratos.
