Can you play this game completely offline for indefintely?

Other than the initial download, does this game ever require you to connect to the internet? If I can play it offline for however long I like then I will buy it.

However, there are some games that can be played offline but still require online authentication check every now and then to verify the license, which means you can't play it for offline forever.

Does the PSN requirement fall into this DRM category?

PSN isn't used as DRM and there is a mod that eliminates the requirement entirely anyway. You can play it like any regular Steam game
