The next patch?

Can we expect anymore patches? The game still tanks in performance in areas outside of Midgard.

Yeah I stopped playing once I got to the dwarven realm. I went from 200fps to around 50-90fps, that's just really weird.

Exactly the same for me, now I only play Valhalla... only this works smoothly for me...

sooo... Did they already gave up on the game?

No more patches? The game is still broken for so many people, Vram leak, poor performance on Zen2 CPUs (I posted a workaround on how to boost Zen2 CPUs performance), shader compilation starting every time the game is launched, graphics settings sometimes resetting to default, broken sound, crashes... There are so many issues they need to fix. They better not stop patching this broken port.

the game is a trainwreck so might aswell forget about the whole thing and crawl back to the PS5 if wanna play this game. It was a small team that worked on this port and the probably moved on.

Played through the main campaign flawlessly, only issue I noticed was sometimes the vocal audio was a bit too low during cutscenes, especially anything with Thor

Valhalla though, crash fest and bug riddled. Took 3 attempts to just get through the first part of it as it kept booting me out, couldn't open any menu's, any time a menu was forced open I could see the system settings menu behind it so the controls wouldn't work properly

1 Crash in 40-50 hours (10-15h afk). No audio issue...
Frame drops only between realm from 120 to 100-110.
Stable 120 FPS for other maps.

same for some friends


But: yes. L for devs.. if they dont patch some issues

I don't recall it ever crashing for me although I did have audio issues
stupid amount of lag when using Dualshock 4 controller over bluetooth but is fine wired
Valhalla menu during tutorial is messed up showing the pause menu on top and it's a right pain in the backside to get past.

cracking game, I don't care about agendas or who was involved or whether it requires a login, if the gameplay is good, the story is good and it runs well then I can look past the faults, IF the devs are working on them!

I'm 36 hours into the game, have been playing it on and off since launch, and it crashed for the first time the other day. Performance has been perfect. So I guess how broken it is depends on the components in your particular set up.

Yup. Dwarf realm is unplayable for right now, I'm lucky to get 10 minutes. Would really like a patch.

Of the 4 big fall releases (GoW, Space Marine 2, Black Myth, Final Fantasy 16), only this one is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that it's nigh unplayable. It's not my system, everything else runs perfectly. Even rolling back my GPU (4070 Ti Super) drivers didn't do ♥♥♥♥.

It's weird that the performance is really good in Midgard, but bad everywhere else. I hope they can make it be like that everywhere.
