PSN trophies don't pop up even if I re-do the requirements!

I have all achievements and I'm currently on my NG+ run, I normally couldn't care less about the PSN Trophies, but I noticed that I'm missing the first 4 of them because I didn't sign in to my PSN account when I first started playing, thus it unlocked Steam Achievements, but not the PSN Trophies. Even after doing them again on a FRESH save file, they don't get triggered or simply get synced with the Steam Achievements.

They claim that they fixed this issue with the Patch #5, but it still remains unsolved. I have already reported it by using the website they've pointed out in the sticky post. However, this issues shouldn't be that difficult to resolve in the first place and they sure are taking their sweet times with it.

I'm not looking for a fix since I'm very well aware that there isn't any, I'm just creating this post to raise further awareness to the issue so that it could get resolved faster for I've seen many people pointing it out.

Tried using another save file thanks to a fellow community member, it didn't work. This needs to be patched ASAP!

Normally, I wouldn't care about the third party software trophies, but I'm missing the easiest ones that are given within the first hour of the game and might as well get them and earn my platinum which I already have on Steam.

I'll fill in another bug report today. Hopefully they'll listen this time.

This issue has been in the game for so long with no reason, i didnt have any issues during my whole playthrough only for some unknown reason the last few post game trophies didnt unlocked.

It is quite strange indeed. I'm taking my time with it until it gets resolved, but if it doesn't until I get 100% on my NG+ GMGOW save, then I'll stop pursuing it.

I'm 30 hours in and only just got my first Trophy. (Rebel Leader)

That's just going to irritate me if I don't get the previous ones synced

I had 13 achievements/trophies unlocked before that.... u have missed a lot

So I have the same issue with Story related achievements that I did on Steam Deck. There it wasn't connected I guess, because I did not get the 'Spartan ways' achievement till the garm fight and the last shield pick up. Not even redoing it works. So only way I could do this would be with PS5 but I'm not sure if it Transfers my game file too. Now I'm stuck on that..

I don't think they will address to this issue. It's been too long since they rolled out a patch.

Having the same issue here - seemingly with the story base achievements. started the game and they were unlocking and then they suddenly stopped. It really annoying because the only way to seemingly get them is to restart the game and even then I could have the same issue.

Random side mission ones are unlocking though... so strange

It is not. I started playing the game after patch #5. I still do not get the achievements, I randomly got some on October 26 and 27th, but not from the beginning of the game and not after that (some story achievements). I even have one Playstation trophy less than achievements in Steam (3 vs 4), I never had so many problems with achievements sync with a game.

I even closed all programs and allowed everything playstation, steam and god of war related in my firewall

This is still an issue after patch #7, just to inform people who wants to go for achievements/trophies on both Steam and PSN. I missed a few trophies in the beginning of the game, and re-doing them does nothing.

Unfortunately this is definitely still an issue because with the recent shutdown of PSN for the last day, I acquired Steam achievements but they weren't sync'd to my account and when PSN came back online I don't have said trophies.

Yeah, I want to remain hopeful but I'm leaning towards it being dismissed. Kinda sucks cause I was actually excited about this feature. I was under the impression I could just resync trophies and it would pop up, but to no avail. :(

Just so ya'll know, this was actually fixed with the most recent update. Big kudos to SMS/Sony for the fix. When you link your account, it automatically syncs with the Steam achievements and pops the Trophy notification for the ones people were missing.
