Prove what I said is wrong then
Oh everyone does you just can’t prove what i said is wrong because it’s not
Good observations, GoW 1-3 are the best! GoW 2018 improves graphics but it went downhill there. Not as great story as GoW 1-3 but not sure how to improve upon it as well.
The worst part for me is they way to get to change fire giant to become ragnarok. I think, he should be in a certain labyrinth where they have to break his heart to transform him into ragnarok. Or probably steal frost giant heart then place it in fire giant body.
Now, what they just did is Talk no Jutsu.
My problem is the way I tacked the quests. I did some main, some side, then went off exploring for treasure, then came back to main etc.
It's MY fault the story didn't flow better lol.
The newer GoW games are better than the old skool versions in my opinion. The combat is vastly superior, but if you want that classic GoW experience, focus on the path of the blades in the Valhalla expansion and don't look back.
Did you never play classic GOW? If you genuinely believe the new games have vastly superior combat then there’s no way you did. The new games lack impact as the brutality is basically gone.
Yes I've played and mastered every GoW game except Betrayal, if that counts lol. I enjoy the complexity of the combat in the newer games, took me way longer to master and felt more rewarding when I did.
One thing I will say, the newer games have far less blood/gore which is a shame considering the franchises roots.
I played the OG GoW and still do sometimes, and Objectively speaking, the new GoW games are vastly better in terms of combat.
In what way?
Well, for starters Odin is portrayed as a manipulative bastard who kills his own son.
Not sure in what universe that is the writing portraying him as a "good guy".
Another example, he clearly threatens that dwarf's life - and Atreus' - during his conversation with Kratos after Kratos gets Draupnir. If Odin doesn't return soon, Kratos' son will be killed in his absence.
In the very opening scene, he tries to get Thor to revert to fall off the wagon by claiming he's "no fun anymore" when Thor is trying to quit drinking and then goes on to call the two sons that Thor lost - his own grandsons - as "worthless". Baldur only had "value" because he was a good tracker/closer, and therefore it didn't matter that his mind was gone. (Something that Odin never makes any effort to help his OTHER son with.)
A bad guy not literally twirling his mustache and cackling evilly every moment he is on screen does not a "good guy" make.
compared to literally every other character kratos deals with in the norse games besides mimir and the dwarves odin is a good guy
