To be honest, I didn’t go out of my way to find the fortune teller at the beginning because she was kind of too out of the way. It would be nice if the fortune teller was accessible through the smartphone instead to reduce the need to walk around so much.
Other than that, I think it would be more beneficial to have other quests prior to this one. For instance, our character currently doesn’t have a place to stay. Maybe she can have a quest to find a “home” first and get some essential things for that home by meeting all of the characters on the island or doing jobs. This can lead to a quest to do “jobs” like the barista game and a character could tell us “hey, go see Finn about part timing at the bar.” Having more of these quests can also help explain and introduce features like how the sodas work, the importance of sodas and battles to these residents, and give more opportunities to flesh out the story and offer more things to do.
Yeah, I didn't want to talk too much about it, but we've created an app on the phone that can be unlocked to consult the medium remotely (but you'll still have to come and talk to her from time to time...).
I know what you mean. But for the moment, it's part of the scenario and I understand that the sense of "urgency" is not yet visible due to the lack of content. As for the introduction of the various mechanics, we're indeed working on it. There will be a small tutorial section after the intro, before the first quest.
I also want to say, Thanks for making this lovely game!
I really love the story and characters so far. Each character is unique and lovable. I think the game holds a lot of promise, so I’m really looking forward to how it will turn out. Wish you and your team all the best.
