Insanely Annoying Stutters Even on 4090

The game seems really terribly optimized. It constantly stutters even on a high-end PC with a 4090. This will get you killed 100% (gets me killed that's for sure)

Update 07/19/2024: I haven't played the game in several months and the initial creation of this topic/thread was based on an early released version of the game. The bugs I encountered may or may not exist in the game anymore. It's not my PC. I have a top of the line system with the best possible hardware available on the market.

I hate to break it to you bud, but I think this is a personal issue. Game runs buttery smooth for me on a 3080

I'm running this game on max settings (what few GFX settings there are) on a 1070 in stable 120+ FPS. Something is very, VERY wrong with your PC.

I'm getting a fair amount of stutters too on my system. It just pops up intermittently but can persist for extended periods of time in some instances. However this is NOT a performance issue. I'm not seeing any variation in frametimes when this happens, it's like the game's internal timing gets screwed up temporarily.

Given how varied systems are, and how many patches come out for games to fix issues, I fail to see how it can't be the game.

There's thousands upon thousands of different setups. Just because it works fine for you and others, doesn't mean there's not something in the game that gets hung up in others.

What are your PC specs?

Are you playing at 4K Maxed out everything?

A little more info would help here.

got a 4060ti here with no problems. Wife and I have the same rigs, and I set ours up so we run a frame rate 10 over our monitor. Anything way over a monitor refresh rate is makig your PC do extra work that you wont ever see.

im running at 120 fps with a 4080 but it does feel like its not optimized correctly it has some odd hitching it might be the way the camera is setup not sure.

4k maxed out, RTX3060ti game runs way over 100 fps all the time.

I've also noticed intermittent spots of lag. But only recently. Might be something to do with a patch or the amount of unlocks, or some other random variable in the game.

After playing the game for close to 7 hours, I've noticed if you play for prolong times (at least on my pc), it will start to stutter and slowly get worse. If you close out the game and reopen it, it will go back to normal. I even messed with several settings before closing out the game and no luck. It appears that only closing and reopening the game fixes the issue. (again on my pc)

Very well the game might run on a CPU focused engine.

200 fps no stutters on 4090 here

Check what you have running in the background.

open up the Task Manager/App History.

Also click on the Processes tab and see if there is something eating up CPU and Memory.

You would be amazed at what Windows alone does in the background.

Yeah I've been wondering that too, since I don't remember seeing any issues in the demo last year.
