Drone seeking/aggro chip does not work

As the title says, the Aggro Chip overclock for Drones does not work correctly, as well as Drones that seek out targets by default (like the Firefly Drones or the Viper Drones). Half the time they will simply circle around me, despite plenty of enemies being on screen. The other half of the time they appear to be working correctly? I have no idea what's causing this. I saw somewhere else that if you run away from the pack completely and then run back in, it'll reset the aggro and work properly... This does appear to be somewhat consistent in getting it to work again...

Regardless, it's incredibly annoying and frustrating. Even more so, the bug has been a longstanding one, it's existed for quite a long time and I've seen all kinds of posts detailing it.

Similarly, I've seen the Shredder Swarm Grenades behaving in a similar manner; the grenades will pop and then the Drones will just fly around in a circle from the grenade detonation area, rather than actually seeking or enemies or latching onto them.

I second this i see it with the cryo drone. quite often.
