Gunner sucks

Gunner does not suck, it is very capable class when you learn how to use the weapons and overclocks right. You should build it so that the secondary guns are support while keeping the main weapon topped off. With minigun, go for fire bullets.

"Thunderhead" Heavy Autocannon is op. As well as Minigun with penetrating bullets. But you can have some problems with stand still and aiming stright to enemies. Heavy Revolver sucks as far as I know

Heavy revolver is good knock back and with enough reload speed it is constant.

it sucks without having weapons from other classes
once you have everyone, i like to double down on "shoot in front of you" with minigun and warthog, and subata whenever i need to back away a little bit, that way i keep damaging enemies at all times and had success with it

Are you talking about the boomstick or the warthog, because the warthog is stupidly strong, killed the dreadnaught in haz 2 with it and the turrets before the dread could even do its first jump.

try maining the shotgun in tier 3 as engi.

I'm talking about the warthog, where you need to use WASD to aim which when you have enemy's surrounding you is pretty much pointless.

It's absolute trash.

I'd rather uninstall than continue to try to use this garbage weapon. It seems to be progression-locked too so I'll be back when they actually make the shotgun a playable main gun in later difficulties because right now, it isn't.

I'm talking about running the warthog on tier 3 with engi starter, in an attempt to level it to 21.

I mean the game was fantastic up to this point. It's busted. Even helldivers 2 on max difficulty is less frustrating than trying to use this weapon with WASD aim, you gotta be straight up kidding me.

If you think Warthog is bad then there is no good weapons. It's probably the single best weapon in the game. Is it annoying to use when you don't get the good overclocks of Plasma or Akimbo? Yep. But even without the god overclocks that take this weapon into clowning on infinite waves territory, it's still AMAZING? Yeah, it sucks you gotta dig and while digging you're shooting the wall. But... it's super good at killing? Like, really good. Like, they're going to nerf this gun for sure good.

The difference between my average engi run that starts with Warthog and my Driller is like the gods to the worms.

I found warthog was consistently the strongest weapon in my entire arsenal whenever I took it. Basically an insta-pick for me, imo.

However, I am playing using a gamepad with analog sticks. If I was using WASD?... I likely would have a different opinion, since that sounds miserable for aiming

As far as the gunner goes, I don't really like the minigun compared to the warthog shotgun, but... getting them both together is amazing. But again, probably not on WASD movement, honestly.

the gun does suck though (warthog), it's literally not possible to use it with WASD as a starter in higher difficulties, trying to level it to 21? Absolute joke.

if you think its strong you're not using it in tier 3. Post a vid or get lost.

Post a vid of you beating tier 3 with engi starter shotgun and leveling it to 21 and I'll gladly eat my own words.

(and do it WITHOUT having maxed all the passive trees). The task should be doable once its unlocked with the engi class, if it isn't, the balance is busted but balance has got nothing to do with the fact that aiming this thing straight up sucks on WASD.
