Suggestion: Add in a minimum spacing for Spitball Infectors to spawn next to one another
Spitball Infectors, the blueish-greenish tentacles that spit acid - https://deeprockgalactic.fandom.com/wiki/Spitball_Infector

I think they shouldn't be allowed to spawn directly next to one another.

I just had a moment where there were no less than 25 spitball infectors all directly adjacent / on top of one another, likely due to me being near the edge of the map.

It was not really possible to dodge their continuous line of spitballs, and with short-ranged weapons it was actually impossible to get close enough to kill them.

Alternatively, or perhaps additionally, the fact that they always 100% face the player means they will always hit you at point-blank range every time, no matter how fast you can move. If possible, they could be given a turning speed, so it is possible to get 'behind' them and sometimes avoid their shots.

As a third alternative suggestion, maybe they could just not shoot at the player unless they have line-of-sight. This is how it works in DRG mainline, and while I think it's fine for things to work differently, I think that firing method for the spitball infectors would potentially work better in this game. This way, you could 'bait' out a shot from them, and after it fires, then you step in to attack. On a lone spitball infector, this wouldn't matter, but when there is a large group of them, all firing at different timings, it is not really plausible for a player to be able to perfectly dodge all the shots being fired at different times from different angles. Allowing a player to be able to slightly manipulate when the spitball infectors fire would increase player agency over if they survive an encounter.

I've never had an issue with spitballers. Their projectiles are very slow and easy to dodge, even if there's a huge group of them. Focus on avoiding them instead of trying to kill them, they have too much health and it's not worth it.

This suggestion is more of a way to make the edge case like I experienced not feel so punishing. You can manipulate enemy bug AI by where you move or dig, but spitballers just spawn wherever they spawn. If it's a bad spawn, there's nothing you can do about it.

To be clear, I've also not really had an issue with spitball infectors... up until this game, where I suddenly did. I wish I had screenshotted it, because it was actually absurd how many were in virtually one spot, but I was too focused on the game.

Just imagine if, on your way to the drop pod, you arrive near it to discover that the game spawned 15 spitball infectors right at the drop pod ramp. What could you do about it other than lose? Hasn't happened to me, but it would feel really bad if it happened, since unlike normal bugs, you don't have control over that sort of thing.

On the left of my 2nd pic you can see how several of them clip into each other - because they SPAWNED ON TOP OF EACH OTHER
