All Progress Reset after Crash.
As the title says. It’s rare for a game to completely grind my PC to a halt, even when it far exceeds the minimum specs. My game hard crashed my PC upon loading the second level during a dive. After a quick restart I come back to a blank slate, no unlocks, no milestones no upgrades. Closing the game Steam automatically syncs with the cloud which I assume wipes all my progress there too.

I guess I'll come back to this game after it has many more updates since I don't particularly want to do the grind all over again.

Zip file sent in an email. Hopefully they find out what's causing this to happen :nitra:

Same issue, is there a fix?

I received a reply from the devs, apparently it was due to my C drive memory being too low and to quote:
"Even though the save files are very small, windows needs a lot of space on C: to “breathe” so Windows might block you from saving the game. Make more space on C: - more than 10 GB and see if that helps."
Strangely I have never had issues with any other games installed on that drive :steamsad:

Unusual answer. Also how much is needed? 115g seems like plenty of overkill of free space

Is it resetting you back to the tutorial? That's happened to me a few times. You can go to the save menu in options and recover *most* of your progress

Might want to check the date of the post.

I just had the same thing happen while trying Update 3. Not just a refund of materials/money spent, a full save wipe erasing 100+ hours of gameplay. 140GB free space on my SSD, which should be plenty for it to 'breathe' as per the dev response above

Happened to me too. Total wipe. 200 hours gone.
