Tips after completing Hazard 3
I thought I would share a few tips after seeing a lot of the same questions/complaints in the discussion. I've completed all the objectives through Hazard 3 on all three biomes, and have all four characters rank 19+.

- Don’t expect to 100% every map. Leaving behind gold/nitra, exp, mats is okay. The OCD/completionist in me really had to adjust to this reality.

- In the same vein, don’t be greedy. That extra pocket of gold isn’t worth getting hit and losing health over.

- While mining, have an exit strategy and know when to head for that exit. Leave that last bit of nitra behind, it’s fine.

- In Haz 1 & 2 my mining-to-killing ratio was 80:20. But starting in Haz 3 that shifted to 50:50. A few times I focused too much on mining, killed the elite, only to die trying to clear a path to the extractor. Cull enemies regularly to prevent a giant swarm from building up.

- Mining and killing has the same basic objective: to upgrade gear. There’s been lots of complaints about the Gunner and the Minigun. Yeah, he sucks at mining because you need to face the bugs to shoot. So stop mining, grab your big gun, at level 5 get a Warthog, dig yourself a bottleneck, and just mow down bugs. Mine when you can, but focus on killing.

- The Dreadnought’s jump attack. Before the Dread comes out, spend time clearing out rocks on the map. This will give you room to maneuver later. As soon as the Dread stops moving start running perpendicular to its jump trajectory. This means you don’t want to be mining a tunnel while the Dread is chasing you otherwise you can’t avoid the jump attack.

- Drop Pod. Prioritize clearing out the landing zone BEFORE the elite or Dread arrives. Always use the drop pod to outright kill an elite or take out 50% of the Dread’s health. This is even more important in Haz 3.

- 30-second extraction. Don’t be greedy and don’t be an OCD/completionist. 30 seconds is plenty.

- Synergize your weapon choices. Mini-gun and Warthog both require you to face the enemy, now add in some turrets since you’ll be standing and killing in one place a lot. Sludge pump, wave cooker, CRSPR, and fire turret is a great combo. Clear out a swath of open land and DOT giant clumps of enemies. Pair heavy/slow artillery with light/fast guns with cryo effect.

- So far I’ve been using Haz 1 to farm ranks, credits, and mats. I don’t know if higher Haz levels give more rank points or credits, but the difficulty curve isn’t worth it.

- Utilize the mini-map. A single dimly lit pixel is usually red sugar. Clumps of dimly lit pixels usually gold/nitra. Brightly lit pixels are sub-objectives (single: mushroom/flower and clumps: the blue ore).

- For biome 3, use the mini-map so you don’t get trapped behind red vines.

- If you are at full health, red sugar will drop on the ground instead of being collected. So you can pre-mine red sugar early on in order to collect it later while on the run from the swarm.

- the difficulty. Yeah, the game is more difficult than the demo for sure. I guess it isn't Vampire Survivor where you become super OP and plow through thousands of ghouls off screen. It plays more tactical and forces you to make decisions and sacrifices as you progress in a dive. It's not exactly what i expected, but once I adjusted those expectations I started having a blast.

Just try to max your upgrades (takes ALOT of materials) but you'll be pretty beastly as you start a run.
Having overclocks unlocked helps majorly too.

Your first point is what kills me most of the time..
Extraction timer running.. Ohh! A Magnet! - BLAM! :D

Keep upgrades to a particular weapon, and overclock it before putting upgrades in level one weapons.

Don't even bother upgrading other weapons. You put points into other weapons when you need to unlock the overclock (the first time, not for the round), or when you're out of Gold for rerolls, or it just has a super rare like Epic / Legendary and your main option is grey.

You want to win? Focus up. Your 4 weapon slots are going to split your passives if you take different affixes, so don't take different affixes. Pay gold to reroll your 5 / 15 / 25 if they don't line up with your primary. Pay gold if the option is some mediocre blue upgrade on a weapon you don't need and bad passives to try to get good passives or stats on your primary. Gold should be reroll-focused with some rare times a high quality shop passive shows up, or when you have enough excess you can afford to splurge on some passives for your main weapon / high rarity mining speed or defense.

Nitra is king: Nitra is the most important currency of the game for two reasons:
One, the item you can get that gives you crit based on how much Nitra you are holding is COMPLETELY broken,
Two, when you don't have that item, having the ability to buy effectively LEVELS for your primary weapon will allow you to steamroll to your Overclocks faster and dominate the DPS to sweep the enemies.

USE ENEMIES TO MINE FOR YOU!

Exploders are obvious, but what about the big guys who break nearby blocks they walk near? You can dig around the node and kite the mob to let THEM mine the node.

Speaking of exploders, they are not a nuisance, they are your TOOLS. Do not detonate exploders when nothing is nearby. Walk in their path to manually detonate them to get fat EXP or to mine for you.

Some more tips:
- In the current iteration of the game, damage scales better than other stats. Always choose damage upgrades when leveling. Prioritize shared damage upgrades, unless there is a weapon-based one that's stronger. if none, then either reroll if you have the gold or choose a defensive upgrade. only get utility (ie. XP gather range) if all other options are exhausted or if its an epic/legendary version).
- Rather than moving as soon as the Dreadnaught stops, zig-zag while it's chasing you (if you have the space) and wait a half-second-or so for it to begin leaping instead when it stops, then side-step the leap. Also try to keep the distance between it and you not too far, but also not too close. This gives you room to continuing kiting it further away from you rather than it being right on your tail (in case you are in an enclosed space).
- On certain maps (like the bough) or areas where there are gaps in the terrain, you can take advantage of that gap when the Dreadnaught leaps at you. usually it will end up on the other side, giving you precious seconds deal some damage to it while it's navigating back to you (make sure it's relatively close to you when it makes its leap).
- Drop pods will deal about half the Dreanaught's health if it drops on the Dreadnaught. If you have an opportunity to drop it, do it, but don't make it a priority if positioning and/or accessibility to the pod is an issue.
- Focus on maxing out meta-upgrades (I prefer trying to make all the ones on the top row) rather than splitting between top/bottom. Most of the upgrades on the top row help you much more than the bottom row and you're better off saving materials rather than splitting them 50/50. The one exception might be pickup radius, but that's a personal choice.

Use the Foreman Driller to farm materials for upgrades between games. With a bit of mining speed upgrades they can chew through anything hella fast.

Synergize getting xp/gold/nitra from mining regular rocks as well and you'll be getting so much money to spend on stuff during the run you'll be OP :p

Me gustaría saber cuales son las armas que rompen el terreno? Como por ej la crio granada.
