If you like bullet heavens but wish they had more to them than just walking around - yes. But I also highly recommend the original DRG, it's way better co-op, but not bad solo.

Maybe... but since it is in the early access stage, you don't really get the background story on how Deep Rock Galactic treats the miners when it comes to profits and getting the job done.

The original game is better, but this one is fun as well after you get past the start struggle.

This isn't a narrative focused game at all, nor does the gameplay have much to do with the first game, so you don't need any prior Deep Rock experience to enjoy it. It's kind of like not needing to have played a mainline Mario game to enjoy Mario Kart.

The original game is ok.. its heavily focused on multiplayer and is pretty bland and boring if you don't play with friends.

This game takes the DRG world and makes it a fun single player game that is enjoyable.

Get both imo. The original is still one of the best games out there, especially for multiplayer.
