controllers are useless

this isnt a twin stick shooter...as the title says using a controller does nothing but change the move device, from wsad to a thumbstick...hell it could be played on a tablet with one of those circle thingies. maybe if you could move one way while shooting in another direction like most other games like this...but you cant. anyone else think they need to fix it?

Why you expect to do get extra control by switching input device?

Controllers do make it easier to face your dwarf in non-cardinal directions, making it easier to aim with weapons such as warthog or minigun.

The game it’s cloning is not a twin stick shooter, most aren’t.

By your logic mouse and keyboard is useless because you are only using WASD and there is nothing to do with the mouse but pick menu options....

the only aiming in the game is directional (hopefully youre mature enough to know/understand what i mean) and its super hard to shoot straight in from with a mouse when it usually has you off centre slightly

Because its more comfortable or sometimes even better then M+K with certain games.
Millions of people use xbox 360/One controllers even without owning a xbox. And some ps4/5 contrllers etc.
I play it on Steamdeck in this case but well controller aswell I guess.

Because playing games with K+M that are designed to be more comfortable with controller is stupid. Simple as that. Source - me : a 34 year old PC gamer.

ok reading all these comments i have phrased/described my issue right...im not sure how else to put it tbh.
i have some frontal lobe scarring which causing communication to be difficult a LOT of the time, and why i come across as a gibbering idiot. my thoughts make sense but when they come out my noise hole/fingertips its kinda like a car crash
