I've already run more dives than there are weapons in the game, I could have possibly gotten every weapon unlocked. I'm just trying other things first.
It would give you immediate and synergistic power boosts for the weapon, making getting it to level 12 worthwhile for that specific run.
I honestly think removing the unlock system completely would be a huge improvement, or rework Overclock unlocks to give you NEW overclocks, not just gating access to them in the first place.
Instead of unlocking overclocks itself (new overclocks for specific weapon), you unlock ability to use overclocks. Why?
How about this the game gives the reject overclock mod option that gives a bonus epic upgrade.
I had a couple fun runs on engineer after unlocking turrets. Then back to the boring grind for digger which I hadn't played yet.
You're not "better supporters" of the dev, just because you can only sing its praises, if anything you're the reason the game remains in a worse state than it could be. :)
(though, feel free to passive aggressively reply to this comment how you think it's perfect. I genuinely don't care about your wrong opinion.)
