Is co-op coming?

Why would you assume a Survivors game is multiplayer without checking? Anyway, no, it's not currently in the plans.

Well, there are ones I just finished playing that are co-op and the previous deep rock was also a multiplayer game, just seemed like a no brainer to be in future plans.

There are exceptions, yes, but it's not common for the Survivors genre. Or roguelites in general. And this is more a spinoff game than a sequel. Pretty much the entire gameplay style is different.

Vampire Survivors has it so it seems like a no brainer that'll come at some point.

Yes, added very late. And....very poorly. And only due to player pressure.

Wait, Vampire Survivors added co-op? How on earth do they make that work? You pause constantly to pick upgrades in single player. I can't imagine how disruptive it would be to have to wait whenever someone else leveled up.

Not until the game is out of early access, at the very least. And even then, this is no guarantee there will be co-op.

They make the exp shared I would assume so it wouldn't pop up annoyingly frequently, that's how the other games did it, I'm assuming it would be the same there too?
