I heavily suggest to reroll for thunderhead as your second slot weapon and use it as your primary weapon as it is one of the best weapons in the game and do everthing you can to increase its up time.
Ideally they both empty and reload at the same rate.
How to do that?
1) Increase the firerate of the minigun so it empties at the same rate as thunderhead
2) increase the magazine size of thunderhead to increase its uptime
3) increase reload speed of both
4) increase damage of thunderhead
5) for other weapons take weapons which empty fast as well. Shotguns are fine, ninshanka is fine, sniper rifle is fine but it will need some firerate to empty together with first 2 weapons. Anything projectile really is okey.
6) Avoid any beam lifetime weapons. Freezing Beam, Sludge Pump etc.. anything that has a long lifetime will lock all your other weapons up for ages. If you pick up one of these it will be much much harder.
7) prioritize any thunderhead overlock over damage on minigun since it is not really good
8) fire overclock on minigun is alright since you will be going firerate anyway
Artifacts ( mostly because of the high health no healing modifiers )
Salty pretzel is amazing. You cant heal, towards the end of run you will be running at low percentage health and gain huge amounts of armor to extend your life.
Mohawk is amazing. Same reason for pretzel. You will be running around with big amount of health but relativly low percent
Artifacts which give firerate and reload speed are great as well. Damage is great as usual :).
Alternativly.
You can go all on the Minigun and try to win with it.
In that case focus on damage. reload speed and piercing. You never want it to empty faster than other weapons so avoid firerate. Other weapons try to pick up stuff which gives acid, electricity or knockback. Again avoid all the beams weapons like a plague.
If you pick up a weapon which empties and reloads slower than the minigun grab some firerate/reload for it.
Other than that, movement speed is really good since there will be periods without any weapons shooting. Armor is nice because you cant heal so it is only way to gain effective health.
Do not greed it to much early on try to enter stages 4 and 5 with decent amount of health.
Good luck!
I got my Thunderhead quite a bit late so it was rough. You can see the power of Thunderhead though. Even though it was last weapon i picked up it still did most damage. Drak-25 did not work really well it emptied to fast and had huge downtimes.
Should have restarted and rerolled for thunderhead as my second weapon i advise you to do the same.
My artifacts were pretty good though.
I did manage to dodge all the beam weapons and i managed to balance out the weapons so the strongest weapons did not have to wait for my weaker weapons to reload. Sadly no maxed out overclocks.
RNG is pretty brutal with 6 weapons :D.

Took me 3 tries. My first try was a wash i did not know what i should do.
My second try i picked up the cryo beam which locked up all my other weapons with its very long lifetime. Brutal mistake.
My third try was a sucess.
Good luck!
yea its pretty bad :D. Especially if you are forced to start with a minigun :S. Lucky enough magma core is a very easy map so its kind of doable.
Also i tend to have very long greedy and extended runs so the no healing thing was a downside for me as well.
It was really interestint though I choose many overlocks which i do not usually take because of how it warps the gameplay. Extended mags for thunderhead for example ^^.
