Other games like this
This game is fun and have put many hours into it but I was looking into trying other games similar to this style but they all seem to use the "8bit" graphics thats all trendy and sheet.

Any games similar that have decent graphics like Deep Rock Survivor?

There's:
Yet Another Zombie Survivors is probably the closest game to Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor on this list.

Word of warning, all of the best games in this genre use pixel graphics. There are two main reasons for this; there's less likely to be slowdown or crashes from tons of enemies and projectiles on screen with pixel graphics. And second, graphics aren't considered as important as gameplay is in this genre, so more attention is given to gameplay over graphics.

The big inspirations in the genre are Vampire Survivors and HoloCure, so that's the expectation that's set, and it's also a really cheap genre, like most of these games are under £5 so they don't have the budget for 3D, and they sell to people who buy a game for £5 so they can't target too high a spec, and as the guy says above, these games are built around putting a lot of stuff on screen, so 2D just helps. Also, a lot of what's fun about the genre is one guy can have an idea and make it, so we get constant innovation that feeds into games like DRG:S

There are games that use fancier 2D graphics, though, Return to Abyss is legit beautiful. Chinese developers might be worth looking at, the Chinese developer events on Steam have a bunch of great Bullet Heavens with 3D graphics

I was gonna mention Nordic Ashes but some one already added it so i'll say Brotato since its up there with the best of them and in my top 3 along with this game. I'll probably give Soul stone survivors a go to see if it makes the top 3 because it's the only other that's really caught my attention. I'd also like to know if there's any better ones out there.

There aren't many high graphical fidelity single stick shooters, hopefully this will prove to be economically viable and we can see more. I'm honestly surprised blizzard hasn't put one out yet.

I HIGHLY suggest Soulstone Survivors. Like you, DRG Survivors was the first "Survivor" game I'd played, and I've played hundreds of games... I tried Vampire Survivors and, while it's good, it didn't contain the amount of permanent meta-progression and levelling I was looking for. Soulstone Survivors provides about a dozen different "heroes" (classes) each with an unlimited number of prestiges (permanent levels earned via in-game XP-no level cap). It also has a huge skill tree and each map has prestige challenges. There's also resource gathering, weapon crafting, and tons of other things to keep you occupied. It's the closest thing I've found to this game so far. Going to try that zombie game people are suggesting next.

Brotato is really awesome. Not sure if the graphics are good enough for you though, and the meta-progression is different. There aren't thousands of "+0.01 % extra speed" or "+0.001 % extra 1337 damage", instead you unlock new items for all potatoes when you get a win with one potato. :)

Another game I've recently tried and liked is Pathfinder Gallowspire Survivors. It's a "meh" out of 10 game, but it's similar to DRG.

Halls of Torment is the one to get. It is The One. But Yet Another Zombie Survivors and Soulstone Survivors are excellent, too. I also think Beautiful Mystic Survivors is overlooked and Scarlet Tower is a great pixel survivor as is Death Must Die.

This is another good one.

Idk those negative reviews are pretty spot on.. it felt pretty much like a mobile game and looked like they would cut away anytime the character was about to get damaged by off hitboxes in the vid showcasing the game.

Agree to disagree then. I figured to suggest it since technically speaking the game is 88% very positive with over 2k reviews. I have about 60 hours in and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. I actually need to go back and clean up the last handful of achievements they added in with the 1.0 update.

This is one of the oldest games of this style I have played. It was released in the early 2000's and was a heap of fun. Got a steam release quite a while after the original release.
