Welcome to Roguelike games. I don't want easy. There is no satisfaction when you complete the objective when it's easy. It's all about incremental improvements through each play through, with upgrading your skills, weapons, character level etc.
I wish they'd disable 'em at the Dreadnaught fight cause you can't really burst him down and the constant onslaught and reinforcement of bugs makes it so unnecessarily difficult.
yes, as you grind over and over and over and....you get it, it gets easier, but the progression just feels a bit 'slow'. Anyway - probably somewhat due to the fact I'm much more 'casual' with games these days - but I love DRG and I'm happy to support this game too at this price point.
Completed my first scout dive after 3.6 hrs. My key of success here was M-1000 with overclock making it have only one very strong bullet in a clip + ignition overclock + movespeed bonuses to dodge the boss jump + sending a pod with ammo on top of his head.
I must say that I managed to get to boss many times before but had no luck without M-1000 "oneshot" upgrade.
It sent me the message that I didnt need to get sweaty / tryhard to start getting familiar with the game / genre and slowly unlock stuff.
Also, im not a base, im a player. Maybe you meant "your"? XDD
