After upgrades are maxed
I have upgraded everything days ago. Now I have accumulated a bunch of minerals/resources and a bunch of currency. I have nothing to do with it. I could buy and sell but there is no point in doing that. I have a couple suggestions, when we go to collect supply we have to pay with minerals. Maybe there can be some kind to search and find unique store while mining. Inside the store there can be consumable things like a fear, bleed, nuclear warhead, maybe some kind of companion or an aid that can temporary fight for you, heal you like a mercenary. What about a mining vehicle for 4 seconds that can mine through any rock like butter. We would have to buy this stuff with the minerals. These items should be pretty low key for example the aid will be with you for like 3 seconds. The fear can be like .05 seconds. The nuclear explosion could just have some sort of radius maybe even have radiation damage for 1.5 seconds. How about buying cloaking that lasts for 1.5 seconds. What if we could start finding other precious metals for example platinum. Maybe it may not even be found the same way gold and nitra is found. Maybe a special scanner would be needed and even the scanner will not guarantee find of one per dive. Maybe we wouldn't always have the scanner or maybe we can buy it through the unique store. Maybe it can be a one time use. Maybe it can be sold from a deeper store call it a black market store. Maybe the store can not be found in every dive. Perhaps the found platinum can be used in the black market store to purchase a guaranteed random legendary out of three choices. Maybe different black market store can randomly spawn, there can be three that will have specific legendary upgrades. These are just brainstorm ideas. I think its important to make the game more rewarding each time we do a dive instead of dying and just getting currency or instead of merely killing the dreadnot and getting nothing out of it. Even a lot of the objectives don't have a reward after completing the objectives.

I agree that there should be some use for minerals and credits after all permanent upgrades are purchased. Right now, as I have completed all objectives and milestones, there are alot less incentive for me to play unless there are new updates. I am sure that there would be new updates for new content, but some ways to use the credits and minerals would be awesome.

Maybe temporary buff for spending minerals.

just stockpile it for future updates I guess, there was talk about them making upgrades for that little robot guy that follows you around so maybe it can be used for that in the future.

The ideas I have or have shared are just ideas I threw out to get the game maker to think and brainstorm and help to be creative. The maker doesn't have to use my robot idea but the robot idea in my hope would spark their own unique idea.

or allow us to buy one weapon in a run we want to play, or a specific pod upgrade…
Allowing players to trade Minerals/Credits during runs for Gold/Nitra/XP would be great

No. It means you'd made runs very, very trivial. Resource sinks would be nice but not in that way.
We may have already gotten teasers of future resource sinks.

"I forgot my lunch box" "I forgot my lucky charm"

These both could be referencing future systems where we buy temporary buffs with resources.

Dude, this game is trivial already. Even on hazard 5 as long as you roll "Nitra Powder"/"Pickled Nitra", nothing can even touch you regardless of your class/build
