The rest can be pretty much anything you like. Strong contenders are the turrets and the Voltaic fence. Fences deal surprisingly good damage and can get an OC that makes them pick up EXP.
The shoot in both directions OC is fantastic. I remember running that with electric and it was so OP.
I usually stay away from the fences, but I'll have to give them a go. Cheers for the suggestion!
Gunner is by far my least played class, and I really should give him some more attention. I love playing driller, foreman, and just blasting out as many heavy weapons as I can.

It's a slow starter, but once you get him going, it's amazing that build.
Any class can Weapon 18 on first stage, so that's moot.
????? God no , don't take range, take the fire rate \ reload \ damage boost whatever one. 2 of these.
Yeah it's short range but by leaning into fire rate, the native knockback in each shot is VERY useful. I can keep big boys at bay all the way up to the dreadnought who..you know, you can't.
It's amazing. I do agree Elec is better (pierces enemies or something?) and that's largely it.
For the final one, you *DO NOT* want to take the *useless* double directions one. You want the double pellets at 20% damage penalty one. It ups the knockback, hits more enemies, hits big enemies harder. Absolute DREAM. This is my most fun build so far.

IDK man, people repulse me on a primal level some times.
Gets a bit uncomfy past haz3 tho.
I hated it at the start. Then it grew on me. And up until i quit the game i really liked it. It was a great Main and secondary weapon for classes that could use it. Specially if you lacked direct damage in your build.
