Come play the strongarm build!
Where you'll ignore a majority of your grenades, and shun the axe, because pushing enemies towards you on return is stupid.

Why does this build exist again, when the other variants and builds are superior to it, and you end up taking non-throwing weapons other than maybe frost grenade because every other option is just better and doesn't screw you over?

Just finished the lvl strongarm to 60 challenge on H5 and beat the boss, yeah the whole class sucks, axe is pathetic but i just did it with axe +Tactical Leadburster +sludge+plasma nade. Here are my takeways:

- I use first overclock on axe to be fire/acid path, after that forget about it.

- Tactical Leadburster seems like the "throwable" weapon to use, this ♥♥♥♥ absolutely carried me with 24k dps, once you select piercing overclock it's possible to loop around them and clear very efficiently.

- Tried few other times and other granades just didnt work (would gladly hear what others used).

Get axe for Acid Trail, Cryo Nades or Leadburster and... that's it. Grenades are largely useless apart from those two, I really hope it will change in the future. Interrogator is even worse IMO, DoTs are just not powerful enough :(

Yeah cryo granades are definitely useful, there's also an overclock on plasma granades that slows if you somehow don't get cryo. Works well also.

The axe is super strong. Annoying as hell but strong A F. Did 45k DPS with it once. And every time i use it and level it up it does crazy damage. You just can not stand too close to the swarm or it will grief you to no end.

Leadburster destroy everything.

Cryo freezes most stuff.

But he has a rough start at levels 1 and 2. And do not shine until level 3 to 5.

Agreed this class is gimpy as can be, what makes it worse is the 20 percent weapon range, the throw-able weapons don't actually benefit in anyway, either buff the Damage Over Time or give the strong arm driller a reason to actually use the throw-able weapons with kinetic damage or explosive radius increase as passives. Hazard 5 is a frustrating joke.

I think axe just medium but can kill u if u have too much reload speed. Leadburster/cryo/plasma burster. Any two or any solo are ok to destroy tons of bugs.
I beat this quest with 30 lvl leadburster/1 lvl axe/8 lvl cryo grenade/6 lvl cryo cannon

I've been playing strongarm on haz 4 magma core to get the incendiary to lvl 25 and my biggest issue so far has been visual clutter... Elites are definitely horrible to deal with but incendiary eventually deals enough damage but ♥♥♥♥... Cluster overclock on incendiary and cryo grenades, both below 2 sec cooldown make the game barely playable bc u can just not see anything whatsoever... Axe needs buffing and explosions need visual tweaks BAD

strongarm is good because it lets u use tactical leadbursters
