Resolution help please!

Has anyone been able to change there resolution out of 640 x 840? Everytime I go to change it, I get the message "unable to apply the requested settings. Please make sure that you are applying settings supported by your system"

I have a Nvidia GTXM 970 so its shouldn't be an issue to change it.

Goto Start, type 'regedit'. Then goto HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > Activision > Spiderman....> Settings > Display. Change your resolution under "Width" and "Height". Make sure that the values are Hexadecimaal. You can change other display settings here. I changed my VSYNC value to 1. Changed compatibility to Windows 7.

After doing this, I was able to change other display settings in the game.

I just changed the height to 1080 and width to 1920 in hexadecimal and changed the vsync value to 1. Did you guys also changed the exe game file to run with windows 7?

In hexadecimal height should be 438 and width should be 780 for 1089 x 1920, you change it to decimal and just input 1080 and 1920.

Find the launch file in your c drive or where you save your games.
Should look something like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Spider-Man (TM) SD

Find Game.exe Right click properties and go to compatibility, under compatibility select run this program in compatibility mode for windows 7.

I have tried changing my resolution in Regedit, but the resolution keeps defaulting back. I have set up the launcher and .exe file to run as admin and Win 7 compatibility...

If windows 7 does not work, set it to Vista Service Pack 2. Worked for me. No problems with settings or save files.

I tried several times to change my resolution with regedit. I also tried to set "luncher" and "game.exe" to run as admin, Win 7 and Vista Service Pack 2 compatibility.
Each time I change the settings (with regedit, I can't change them in the game), the game crash on lunching. Then, it reset the settings to default.
