Scorpion Level Glitch
Hi, wondering if anyone else has had this problem before - the game keeps crashing when I enter the first building at the very start of the Scorpion Level. Every other level in the game seems to run fine, and TBC, I'm running on Windows 7, so it's not the Windows 10 issues that were cropping up for other people.

Appreciated! I -still- have not been able to find a solution for this. Finally just bought the Wii version.

I know this reply is a little late but I found something that works to anyone who still has this problem.

Go into your system32 folder and locate a file called d3d9.dll. COPY (do not cut) and paste it into the game's main folder.

For some odd reason, according to my event viewer, the game kept crashing at the beginning of the Scorpion level because the game couldn't recognize the original path to this file. This should (hopefully) solve it.

For real? That's... astounding peculiar, but TY. Will see about trying it later.

Thank you very much, it works.

this is really REALLY late, but a much easier solution that worked for me was just pausing the game as you enter the hallway and letting it sit for a minute or two, and then unpausing it.

I know that I am really late to this discussion, but I am doing a youtube playthrough of this game and I have the same problem with the scorpion level, where every time I enter the first building my game crashes, I have tried the d3d9.dll thing and that didn't work and I have tried to pause my game in the hall and let it sit for 5 mins and that didn't work either. However I didn't have d3d9.dll in my system 32 folder so I downloaded the d3d9.dll online so that might be why the solution didn't work. I don't if anyone will see this but if anyone does any help will be greatly appreciated.
