Being a Winnie game it's already blocked in China, so the main market will be the US unless we decide to make some big changes.
There's nothing to gain from speculating on a hypothetical, I'd rather spend that time working on the game. We'll address it if it happens.
But personally I would change the character to an original design. It doesn't have to change styles or anything. Hell, it could even open the door to things like unlocking other characters that play differently.
But nobody seems to have sued over Blood and Honey's worldwide release last year, so it's probably fine regardless.
Also, even if it's not really something the dev cares about that much, it would make it easier to sell the game outside the US. Doesn't necessitate it, but I do think it's worth considering.
That's super funny if you think about it, Winnie pooh and a virus in china
