I am assuming. Each ammo case hold 4 times to shoot, each time 1 use, cost $3. That’s $16.00 one box of 9mm ammo cost $15.00, that’s only $1.00 profit. I am assuming each time a resd shows up and shoots, it cost 1 use of the ammo box. Ie 4 use of an ammo box.
Last but not least I stand and watch the shooters and now and the I see $3.00 pass my screen.

hello, the shooting range works like this, there are several levels of the shooting range, they differ in the number of attempts, how much can be shot from it, this number is set by the cartridges, at level 4 of the shooting range 10 people can come and shoot, each box of cartridges gives a different number of shots, the amount of money you get depends on the price of the weapon, the more expensive the weapon, the more money you get, for example, if you have a shooting range at level 4 and you have filled the cartridges, that is, there are 10 attempts, and your weapon costs $ 1,500, then for each resident who will shoot you will receive $ 75, we multiply this by 10 and it turns out that from one shooting range you can earn $ 750

The Range is one of the two main sources of passive income I have found thus far. I have all 4 ranges at level 4 with a range of pistols to assault rifles costing between $850 to $2500ish. The most popular range is my best rifle and books out at roughly $140, this may be due to being level 42 and I have bonus cards which boost my range, I am unsure but the other good source of income is the Service window, as long as you can pay the wages of your repair(wo)man each morning they will show up and more than earn their wages without you even having to break a nail.
One last thing I want to point out is that tour target ranges level does not impact on the price or type of ammo needed to fill your ammo boxes but some ammo is more cost effective than others; my 9mm ammo costs 9 scrap and fills ammo box by 1, ammo .45 costs 18 scrap for 3 refills and 7.62 ammo costs 36 scrap and gives 5 refills.
