Mon /Bazou is a great example of a non-standard genre game that plays beautifully on the Steam Deck/with controller.
The only games that make gamepad play annoying are ones that make you manually enter prices all the time and other such tasks that suit a kb more.
This game just has movement, buying and selling at fixed prices, fitting/repairing pieces etc. I think this could transfer to Deck/controller easily.
