Green prices are higher than the average price, and red prices are lower than the average price. Perhaps the higher the price, the better the quality, but if the same parts and rarity are different prices, in the case of expensive guns, a few percent will be added to the income of each part, and the price will change slightly.
Yeah theres nothing in the tutorial explaining this concept. I was testing which ones actually make me significant profit, neither of them really do, the economy in this game is not really good imo, in the demo i was able to make up to $1000 fast but now its a struggle it seems. it feels like I am only making some change in profit each sell.
Expensive parts can be sold at a premium price due to quality, but if you sell multiple guns at a low price, tips will be added to the sales, so overall it will be more profitable to sell many guns at a lower price. I feel like that. So for now, I'm just enjoying role-playing as a shop owner who provides expensive products.
It would be nice to see the average price as well, to see how much the prices differ from the average.
like a the MP5ish (SMG) base bit was green it mean that that part cost more to buy then what it itself would sell for by the player.
red mean that part itself makes money.
Like if the player buys a revolver frame, a barrel and a grip.
each have a player crafted sell value of 10 each so 30 for the complete revolver.
if the barrel cost 15 (green) the player would lose money.
if it was 5 (red) player made money.
now I can still make money if the revolver frame was 15, if the barrel and grip was 3 each.
Oooooo, now I'm really excited!
