You don't get a launcher in your version? The resolution and windowed/fullscreen option is in the launcher.
Alt+ENTER switches from windowed to fullscreen in the Windows version but I'm not sure if you can even alter the resolution in a config file or in a command line switch.
I'll try that out tonight. My steam launches in fullscreen mode (kinda like windows media center, from what I remember), so maybe that's the problem.
K, so I tested it out with "Big Picture" mode disabled. No dice. I then went and installed it in wine, and got the launcher right away. 1920x1080 resolution was an option, and it looked amazing, complete with expanded artwork for widescreen. Only trouble there was I couldn't type into the save game field, and my progress wasn't saved in steam cloud (Lots of blackjack to do to make up my cash stash). I'll try figuring that out next...might be my best option.
