No money
I found the only way to get some money is to play at the machine. But its really boring and you dont always win. I cant even travel on taxi.

Am i missing something?

I could tell you, but this is pretty much Sierra Adventure Gaming 101. It's best you learn on your own.

Abuse saving and reloading. Save, Bet Max, if you lose reload. When you get enough to travel to the casino you can do this on the blackjack table and not worry about money.

actually, for story purposes it's better if you get maximum $400-500 (100 for the taxi)

Bet Max, Save when you win. Load if your loose.
