All the ways to die?

Obviously I am working on "Is This Something To Be Proud of?"

I'll list everything I know of (some spoilers)...
Flush the toliet at Lefty's
Get run over by going out into the street
Enter the cab while carying a drink (whisky or vodka)
Enter an alley (exit a side of the screen that doesn't lead to anywhere while outside)
Use the lady in the bed upstairs at lefty's without protection (you have to wander around a bit after before you die)
Use the lady in the bed upstairs at lefty's with protection and then leave without taking the protection off first

That's only six I know of. Is there more or do you have to do them all in the same playthrough? I've heard drinking a lot of drinks at lefty's can get you killed but I've been unable to do more then make Larry stumble about for a moment.

In the original 1987 release there was a 2 hr time limit that would be game over... hopefully this isn't in this remake

For this to trigger, you need to do all things mentioned here in a single playthrough. You may get confused with saving/reloading, so just be very methodical with each location, in the end it triggers, confirmed 100%.

I think those two are the same since I didn't do the first one, and I got the achievement.

I remember in the old game you could die if you did not get the knife before spending the night with Fawn.

Unfortunately I could not check for my first playthrough since I only remembered it after getting the wine, and the only way to get rid of the wine is to give it to Roddy, who in turn gives you the knife. (In the old game, you could just drink it, it would give you bad breath)

Lord_Wiener - I tried that (not getting the knife) and it results in you being stuck to the bed FOREVER... you have to load the game from a previous save... i guess the developers didn't think of that possibility :P

I took a look at the achievements today, apparently it is possible to chew through the ropes - it never even occurred to me since I already had the knife. Thanks for trying it out though!

Chew through them? Lol... going to try that now :P

EDIT - luckily, I saved the game when trapped on the bed.. so I just loaded it up, and sure enough, using the "smell/taste" icon I was able to chew off the ropes earning an achievement! Thanks LW :)

One thing that might be an issue is that I was pretty sure I did all of them including entering the cab with alcohol. but when I got to the crashing blow-up doll part I didn't get the achievement. I then tried to redo all the deads that I could until I got it or not. The one I did where I got the achievement was the taxi ride with alcohol. And I know I did that one because when I had all the ingredients for the perfume, I bought the vodka at Lefty's but didn't mix it yet and got in the cab and died etc. So perhaps that cab ride one needs to be the last one you do for the achievement to click? *shrug*

I really like the way Larry informs people of the importance of using condoms. "If you don't use them, you die." Nice educational touch even if it's a little bit blunt. I remember playing the original Leisure Suit Larry back in the day as a kid and that definetly stuck to mind.
