Why can't I buy this game? On the shop page, there is no "Add to card" button, nor any pricing information. Has it been pulled or something like that?

This has been an issue for some time. Valve are very tight lipped about it, but the consensus is that LSLR has been temporary (or permenantly) pulled from the Steam Store.

Why? Nobody really knows, but my guesses (and they are only guesses) are

1:)
The SJW's and Feminist's may be putting pressure on Valve to remove it from the Steam Store, due to the sexist nature of the game?

This could explain why the LSLR Steam Store page is still there, and the purchase button is not because if Valve are appealing and they win they can just add the buy button back (cheaper than making a new page for the game), and if they lose the whole page goes bye-bye forever. Once again I am just guessing and won't claim this as fact.

2:)
There may be licensing/legal disputea (The main reason games are removed from Steam)?

However if this was the case the whole store page disapears immediately.

3:)
If it is a garbage, unoptimized console port and Steam take it down until the devs/publishers fix it (Like Batman: Arkham Knight)?

However I can't see this to be the case for a 2D cartoon point-and-click adventure game.

Guesses #1 and #2 are where I think the possible issue would lie. Guess 3 is something I doubt would apply to this game, and is just listed as it's a known reason for a game to be pulled from Steam.

You can still buy LSLR on GOG though.

Far as I know it was some kind of license/legal jeopardy, I hadn't checked up on Replay Games in a while, but there was a bit of a disaster right around the release of LSL:Reloaded, with the CEO Paul Trowe arrested for showing porn to a minor. As well as his threatening and abusing a whole bunch of people inside and outside the company, the result was a lot of people leaving the studio, and plans for another Larry game being cancelled.

I would not be surprised in the least if there was still ongoing internal legal and personal drama bc that CEO guy seems drawn to it like flies to stink. it sucks bc Al Lowe got burned bad on this game, so he's pretty much done with game development. the price points of the LSL Steam rereleases are kind of questionable when you look at the GOG prices too

Free for a demo. After a few mins into the game, you have to pay to progress any further, via an in-app purchase to Google Play.

The new LSL1 & bundle includes the VGA remake, but not the Reloaded version from 2013. Different publishers so that doesn't surprise me.

tbh valve has a *lot* other already "cutted but still notable" sex/porn/(MOSTLY)Hentai games on their platform and the LL-series in total were more "fun nudity" then "real nudity" if you compare them with the games which come out today on steam... to go more into your words:
1) As i explained already, i doubt that since again their a lot other games outthere where are more "worse" in that kind of gameplay.

2) that could be more of a reason

3) as much as i know that was not the case (it was made for PC...)

Also youre now able to pay the classics 1-3 5-7 + the first 3D game (the "uncut version"~) now on steam so it let me think twice "why" the remake is not able to pay, i would like to get it tbh...
Both the uncut and censored versions of Magna ♥♥♥ Laude are still banned in Australia (and always will banned in the Nanny State of Oz, due to use of sex as incentives or rewards), so I don't know how long it will be in the Steam Store for Aussies before someone at Valve figures out the oversight (or gets a nasty letter from the Australian OFLC), and region locks it while blocking it from Australian IP addresses.

I'm very interested what's happening. I guess there are some licensing issues. Since Replay Games is basically no more, maybe some other company i interested in the title?

Are there any updates on the status of the game? I'd prefer to buy it here to keep most of my games in order and I really want to support this game.

You can still purchase it though other resellers, like Fanatical.Com. You get a Steam Key, activate it in your Steam Account, and Voilà!
