Ideas and Suggestions for content in the game
Hi, I really like the game! But I think it might lack a bit in content right now. It is still fun as the main enjoyment comes from screwing with friends. But I do think that adding more content in the game could help make it that much better.

What I think would be cool:
- More maps, think of a mountain with more verticality, a mineshaft complex underground for the worm to appear above and below, In the ocean with debris and a seaworm. They can go a lot of different ways when it comes to maps in this game. Sure, some might not be as well balanced, but that makes it more fun.

- More enemy types. The worm works really well in the current map, but might not work as well if they decide to create new maps that arent just variations of the basic map.

1. Like I said before, a Seaworm/waterparasite for water based maps that can see vibrations in the water.
2. A spider, the map will be covered in webbing and when the players touch the webbing, the spider can see the player. It would be more about parkouring for the players and potential web manipulation by the spider.
3. A bat, with its ears it can hear movements around it, or release a sonar scream to only see the players. It flies around and is quicker, but wont be able to see vibrations as easily.

The moving away from just a worm might go against the title of the game, but could be fun to see as more creative/different ways to play the game/

- Different types of escapes. At this point we only have the train or the balloon. Having different ways to escape depending on what loads in would make it a more refreshing experience that you need to adapt to than always playing around the train.

- Human abilities. This could only work if the worm either gets more powerful, or more abilities overall. With human abilities, humans can for example jump higher once ever minute, run real fast, or even set up decoys. But it would only work if the worm has something to combat it.

-Different gamemodes. Gamemodes that are either more team focused or different than the basic gameplay. Think of something like 'Hunted' in which the worm has to destroy 50% of the buildings in the map while the players are decked out with guns and need to either kill the worm, or stall the worm for a certain time.


All in all, I like what the game has to offer, and I hope to see more of it!

More maps and Different gamemodes are the 2 things that i agree with in this post.

I don't think we need More enemy types because the game is about a Worm so other things wouldn't work imo. you can always just customise the worm to look like a fish or something

Also don't think that the Pardners need abilitys because Equipment/Kits already exist and that was added alond side the worm abilitys.

In terms of new maps, just having different layouts like maybe and L shaped map and what not would be a nice addition.

Also one thing to keep in mind is that 99% of this entire game is make my one person so something like a whole new ocean themed map could take like 2-4 months to make.

I do agree that some of the stuff isnt as needed. But I think it could lift the game up to that extra level of replayability that it might be missing right now.
More enemies could help with people wanting to both learn how to play as the enemy as well as how to play around it. But it wouldnt fit with worm town like you said.

Im mainly looking at ways how you can extend the replayability of the game.

I disagree with most of this.

The game needs better communication and some quality of life changes.
Right now the game just needs a good playerbase and work on the server access. The game still freezes a lot and it is difficult to keep a server going.

The creator should work on perfecting this system and making it all easier to use and understand before they add bells and whistles.

I mean, of course servers and communication and all that is more important. But its not content. That would just be expanding the basis of the game which should be a given.

I am mainly talking about new content, which should be important for the longevity of the game

I also have some ideas that I think would be cool. (I might come out with more of these).

-Difficulty ratings for both teams (each setting adds/subtracts from the difficulty score, when the score reaches a certain threshold the difficulty ratings increase. Difficulties Ratings: Easy, Normal, Hard, Wormfood/Weak Worm). This would show up on the server selection screen.

-Pardner/Worm presets

Sandstorm has been reworked, the rework is currently in the Public beta if you want to test it out.

More ideas for the game! I hope you all enjoy these.

-Win animations (separate from the win screens, the only reason I came up with this is because it hurts my soul to see the train go from stationary to full speed).
Pardner escape via train: Train rolls out of Wormtown, breaking the planks blocking the tunnel.
Pardner escape via balloon: Balloon floats away.
Worm win: Worm stands up on its tail and burps out a cowboy hat, which slowly floats to the ground. It then quickly burrows underground, devouring the hat.

-New kit: Revolver
This gun hurts the worm even less than the regular escape mini-game (which makes no sense but balance over realism), but you can get 6 uses out of it.

-New kit: Lasso
Want to grab that piece of coal that's juuuuuuuuust out of reach, but there's a worm on your tail? Use the lasso to give anything that isn't nailed down a powerful yank towards you. Only good for 1 use.
