Cannot join friends game

Have 1 person in friend group that is unable to join or be connected to when hosting a private game. Any possible solutions to this?

Quote from Developer in their Discord: "Make sure their system clocks are set to automatic". This is the only solution they have given to this issue so far.

out of my own experience: Keep retrying, Unity Servers are not the best.

The two solutions to this seem to be:
1. Setting your system clock to automatic
2. Verifying the game files on Steam

i've tried both of those myself and it's still just not letting my friends join.

I haven't heard of this before, but you might want to make sure you don't have an anti-virus or firewall blocking the game? I'll see if I can think of other solutions, sorry about that!

i did end up getting it fixed, for one reason or another my vpn had caused some issues

having the same issue except I am the odd one out. as above I have verified game files, confirmed my system clock is set to automatic, confirmed no VPN is on. No clue what I'm doin wrong compared to all my buddies XD

Game was working fine when I was on friend pass but now that I purchased full game its not allowing me to play

That is super weird... The Friend's Pass and full game don't have any different functionality netcode wise. The only thing I can think is if your firewall flagged the full game and blocked it but didn't do that for the friend's pass?

I'll see if I can think of any solutions for this.

I've been attempting to both host and join friend's games. When I try to create a lobby, I get stuck in "Joining Game..." I wait for a while but eventually I have to close the game to get out of loading.
I tried to join a friend's game, but every time I entered the lobby code, I was told it was incorrect. Even having it copied into chat so I can see exactly what the code is doesn't help.

I set my system clock to automatic and verified the game files, but my situation hasn't changed. I'm itching to try this game with my friends but I can't get past the menu.

It was a vpn issue for me. My host had a VPN enabled and disabling it made us all connect with no problems!

If you have a VPN running turn it off to play.
