Why are you playing this?
The question asked at the binning of this game: "Why are you playing this?"

Here's my answer (I assume others can answer too, if they like).

I saw it was a game based on real life, and considered I had kind of a screwed up high school life, thought I would try it for a taste of what a normal highschool life would have been like. Not extra violent like some video games, or overly sugar-coated like a lot of dating sims, but with a mix of both.

And...

I was not disappointed.

This felt *way* more normal than what I had to put up with. Nicole is relatable (my parents also moved around, I had to struggle with empathy-connected mental health issues, and knew too much about the politics of the world and not enough about the social nuance of other people).

This game was exactly what I was loooking for with a character I absolutely could identify with.

And before anyone asks, no, none of that's sarcasm. It's legit, and I loved this game. It helped me feel whole.
