Original vs Re-Up
So I completed every ending in Re-Up and I was wondering if the original has more to offer given having double the amount of endings. Should I play the original? Is it a better VN?

The Re-Up is the better VN in my opinion, but the OG has some more context for this game's world. Also, you miss out on a lot of great jokes. If you liked this game's humor, you'll love the OG.

I like the first one a lot more. This one really leans way too much into Nicole's sociopathy/issues, the endings were much more bleaker, and Jecka is way more of a "voice of reason" type character... The first one had some more positive messages for Nicole. This one left me with more to genuinely think about, I will say that.

The two have different story paths. The OG has more endings, but has shorter routes and more confusing paths. The RE-UP has longer and more straightforward paths and an overall darker tone.

They are both good though, get the Double-Up bundle.

I liked the OG a bit more, the endings felt more real though that might be bc I played both games in a row

the re up has longer endings, the first one has more, thats mostly the only difference. its definetly worth playing both though, just know that theres a reason i have 35 hours in the re-up and 3 in the original

Both are good, and Re-up just assumes you know all the characters and their dynamics, it's all the same characters mainly. Re-up is more like an expansion pack. The character writing is also a little different, some relationships are written a little differently, like Nicole and Jecka's friendship.

The scenes go on longer in Re-up as well, with fewer branches. Play the original, it's cheaper. Then, if you like the characters, go ahead and get Re-up as well.

hence why its a re-up instead of a sequel. also they already completed the re-up lol
