I'm starting a game with Stockport since thay have a half decent stadium already, anyone got any good free signing tips given i have no transfer budget, must be loans and/or frees.

Use one of the the Free Agents shortlists on SteamWorkshop - they help you enormously.

I recommend you raid the Premier division Youth teams for free loans - or maybe a foriegn league if you want good paid signings (since you can only have 2 loan signings).

Pace and general quickness is lethal in the lower leagues (which is why both my loans were good wingers).

btw - I started in Skrill South and I just got to L2. :)

At lower leagues there are alot of newgenss, etc.

Not sure if Stockport starts as pro / semipro or amateur.

Either way search UK&Ireland/Contract Expired/Age is at MOST 19/

Then pick your way through each position using the show attributes function.

You should be able to sign a number of decent youngsters for £5 a week wages.
