Black screen, game won't start

when i opened the game i see war child page then others such as league logos but I DONT SEE THE MAIN SCREEN , it is ALL BLACK please help

Okay, are you running any custom graphics/logos/skins etc? Have you used the Workshop?

Hi.

I have the same problem with the black screen, can't get to the game menu. I have the newest drivers for graphics card and i have verified integrity of game cache several times, but the game still crashes to black screen after seeing the league logos and so on.

What should i do?

I also have the same exact problem, and have tried everything including contacting the support team at SEGA and followed all his recommendations, yet still get the black screen after the initial leagues logos.

All I get at the end was,
"Unfortunately if these steps do not improve the situation then we will not be able to provide you with additional assistance, as the Optimus Technology issue is a compatibility problem that is affecting a wide range of games at the moment and we cannot offer any more troubleshooting steps on our side, since the problem lies in the communication between the graphics card drivers and the applications.

However, please rest assured that both the developers and Nvidia are working in order to solve this issue as soon as possible. Please check the Nvidia website for alerts on new driver updates, as they are currently working on a solution in the form of a new driver release."

I am using an Alienware M11x
