I keep getting this error "Application Error: Serious error has been encountered and the application will close. A crash dump has been created in etc etc" and have not been able to load FM14 since the update i think. I have tried all of the possible fixes, re-installed but now its getting to a point where im getting frustrated. Being a livid FM fan and having spent hours and hours on previous FM's i cant understand why its crashing, i have no issue with any other games via steam. I orginally installed it from CD and since then uninstalled and installed via steam, reinstalled DX, tried various start up commands but still crashes. I dont get a black screen, just the error above and then after awhile these errors:

app already running
FM 2014 has stopped working

Please help!!

After checking some files, i have 2x sports interactive / FM14 folders in my documents folder.
One has all of the previous versions 08,09,10,11,12,13,14 and a 14demo, the FM14 file was dated the day i installed it and the other folder just contains FM14 with the date from when ive been unable to play?

So i've deleted the later but still get a crash and the 2nd folder returns so ive copied the original into the later folder but still get the same crash error?

So frustrating......

Does it always crash at exactly the same point in-game? On the same date? Let me know, thanks.

My game has crashed as well and it says my file is corrupted and may suffer from decreased performance and the only way to prevent this is to create a new file. How can I fix this without creating a new save game?
