FM 14 Editor
First of all if there is already a Topic here relating to the FM14 Editor please point me towards it and I can delete this thread.

I tried to use the FM14 Live Editor but I couldn't figure out how to use it. Personaly I like to play Football Manager as a fantasy game. To do that I like to make my all time super teams, select a team in Leauge 2 in England, delete all the players, then add in every player I can think off that is world class or my favorit players. Then I play the team until I get them promoted from the L2 all the way to the top in the Premier Leauge. Win all the Cups as well. Become a legend Manager and start getting jobs from the best clubs in the world.

I tried to do this with the Live Editor but I could figure out how to move players or delete players. In the 2011 FM game the editor is simple.. load the data, search for a team, edit the team how ever you like with wages, money, player transfers and contract expiry times. This way you can have all the best players you want and staff for as long as you want for as little money as you want so you're team never falls apart due to contarcts etc..

I just need someone to maybe add a video tutorial or something to this as a reply, show me how to edit players stats, contracts, wages etc, and how to add staff. Remove players or transfer players team to team. Also I have an issue with the money in FM 11.

I can go to my team and select finances, give the team 100 Billion £ or $ to use on wages and transfers. Select how much of that allowed for the Manager to use on transfers at 100%. But when I start the game, the team has the money, but then gives £0 for transfers and only £8 Million for wages...? So even though they have Billions and I pick 100% to give me for transfers I get nothing, this means I can't go to the Transfer market to buy anyone, or if I go over 8 million on wages I can't offer any new contracts, it's really annoying since I set it as 100% for everything there shouldn't be any restrictions from the Club's board..

So to sum up.. I need someone to show me how to make a super team of my choice, move players etc, edit money and be able to use it without restrictions, and how to edit staff members and players stats if I wanted too. I looked on Youtube for videos but they are all ♥♥♥♥ and don't help me at all.. I have the newest version of the game via steam update. But where do I get the FM 14 Editor again?.. Thanks for all your help guys.

Thanks Ajsa!.. I'm not a big Steam guy, so didn't know I could do this. Huge help brother. And since this is almost the same as the 2011 editor I know how to use it!. The online editor is weird and stupid. Thanks a lot for the help.

I just tried the Steam Editor. This is a pure (censored)

Just compare it to FIFA Manager's one and you will see that is is NOT complicated...to make simple things.

You want to take a team and adapt it to last 2015 data ?
It will take 20 days to make it properly, but i don't even know if you can do things like transfer a guy to club x for y euros and reverse.

I found nothing else than "erase"

And no envy to look for a wiki to learn all the finesses of this self entitled "powerfull editor".

FIFA Manager is dead because that FM i never appreciated ate all the cake.

Disgusted, won't buy FM15, i'm not that stupid.

If ever the 3D match was great, but, whatever, guys don't do what you plan for hours and the center attacker just has to dribble 1 defensor to score 50% of times.

Pityfull

Maybe the "largest and most accurate database even used by professional coaches"...but a pain to play when you like to manage a club.

Issa Nissa !

The ingame editor I don't know about, not gonna pay just to be able to change things if something doesn't go my way during a save.

However I have used the other editor, the out of game data editor is quite easy to use if you're just making database changes and not league edits...

League edits/creations take more knowledge, tinkering, and examples from premade leagues or perhaps custom leagues from workshop but that isn't unreasonable considering the number of options and need to get everything lined up properly.

The editor for FM14 once I started using it is pretty nice in my opinion. You can make an entire new League if you want. You can move players to and from any other club in the world no problem. You can have those players for 0 money if you want as well for 10 years. All you do is change the contract status, and edit the players reputation. He;s still the same kick ass players but with less reputation so no other clubs want him and he doesn't ask for a new contract so you can keep him at low level clubs easy.

I tried the online editor as well, compared to the in-game editor it's shockingly difficult to use. I couldn't figure out how to even move a player to a new club or even how to change the transfer budget or find a team to edit in the first place. I'm working on making my own League in England right now.

I'm going to call it something like British Community Shield.. I'll have 32 clubs from all sides of British football leagues. Clubs from South England, North England and of course Scotland, Wales and Irland. Have them play in Groups like they do in the Championship. With a win bonus of like £5 Billion lol!.. Also you can change the stats of players too. But watch out what you change because you can cancel out changes. for example if you make a players Pace 20 his sprint speed will go to like 11. His height to 190 his heading will be 20. Some good changes some bad, just watch what you change, personally I like to pull all to 20 and then it puts all his stats to between 15 and 17. Makes him a super player. I'm using Benzema with edited stats right now he's worth 120 million in the transfer market lol. Also working on a few mods to increase updates. So I can have the FM15 player stats in FM14 pretty much. And change Leagues as I want a bit like create your own League like in FIFA 07 manager mode. The team I'm using right now has world class players and world class staff at Southend League 2 in England, all of them are at my club on free contracts so no money used. All I did was change contract to part time or youngster and age to 16-18. East stuff, I'm beating clubs like Barcalona and Man United or Arsenal 9-0 each game lol. It's become a little easy. I also increased the reputation of my club from local to world class. So even though in real life my club is almost unknown I can now offer world class players a contract lke Messi and he will accept it if the offer is good enough. Silly really but I love having fun with it.
