How multiplayer works?

A little late I know. As far as Football Manager 2015 goes (or 2014 for that matter) How does multiplayer work? I have had the game for a while but never explored the MP options. Specifically can you start a league with a buddy and each pick one team, play your weekly games then submit the results or advance the league then? Also what happens if two human coached teams go head to head?

yes basically how it works is,the people who start the game are both on at the same time,each player chooses at team to manage and the game just plays along as normal really.When you and your buddy come head to head it again more like playing the AI as usual,but obviously u play against your buddy.Good fun when it works out well.
