wwe 2k24 Freeze my pc windows 11 24h2
I recently had problems with my wwe 2k24, I changed my RTX 4060 video card and noticed that my game froze my screen not allowing me to do anything other than manually turn it off with the power button, I thought it was my card but I tested other heavier games and they worked fine without problems, Microsoft reported the same problems with UBISOFT games and Path of Exile, in the micro community they said that this problem was solved but they only mentioned Ubisoft games, I would like to know if anyone is having the same problem or if they have already managed to fix it. the problem always occurs when I change menu screens, loading screens, I've tried turning off Vsync, leaving it in windowed mode which allows me to move the Mose for a few seconds before crashing and leaving the Bilinear resolution nothing solved my problem, I have an 8th generation Intel i5 processor, HD and SSD and 16 GB of RAM, it's not possible that I'm the only one with this problem I would like help or a light at the end of the Tunnel

Same issue here. Game loads up to the first screen then completely locks up the computer in Windows 11, always in the same place, where the icon in the lower right of the screen starts to change slightly and then stays frozen.

Most of the time I've had to restart my PC to fix it, as ctrl-alt-delete won't even bring up the task manager options. I've sometimes hammered ctrl-alt-delete over and over and then after like 3 mins it gives me the task manager, but it's not very reliable so far.

I was seeing on the Microsoft website saying that they "solved" it. I'm checking to see if there's a Windows update. There aren't many places talking about this problem, and it's only with this specific game. I haven't tested it with Assassin's Creed and it's only during menu changes or loading screens. That's weird.
Maybe one would attempt to use FSR1 as some users say it could be hit-or-miss with resolution but personally it affected me but it's worth a try.

I've tried turning FSR on and off but it doesn't work normally. I leave it off because my card can handle it. This has already corrupted my My Universe save once. Luckily I didn't lose my creations.
same problem here

Why don't they release a fix?

The problem has probably been going on for about three months now, I don’t know for sure, maybe more. I paid such a lot of money for the game and such an attitude towards the users of the game

Same issue here since the 24H2 update

I posted this is another thread but if you're within the 10-day grace period, rollback your update to 23H2. If you're past the 10 days... I think your only option is to find the 23H2 version of windows and completely reinstall the OS. That means losing everything on your PC, so be sure to make backups of anything important.

Will they release a patch for 24h2 that will fix these crashes and freezes? How long can we wait for this?

I still hope that this Windows update at the end of the month will fix it, I can't go back to the grace period that ended last year lol, because I need my save to transfer everything to 2k25

There's zero guarantee that the upcoming update will fix anything. It's been months but Microsoft hasn't said much, and I don't think they've even publicly acknowledged WWE as one of the games broken by the update. Only Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Assassin's Creed Origins and Assassin's Creed Odyssey have been listed as the affected games.

I hope it's fixed but I'm not holding my breath. My advice: do NOT update right away. Hold off and see how it's going for other folks.

Path of Exile 2 too, but I don't know if an update has been released, they don't even mention it in the problem report.
Windows AutoHDR might be one leading cause of issue for Win11 24H2. :badluck:
