Still 40+ locked characters even with the "40 Years" edition?!

I bought the "40 Years of Wrestlemania" edition and there are still 40+ characters that I have to unlock/ to buy in "MyFaction"... Seriously???

You're talking about the Persona cards in MyFaction, yes. Almost all of those were added post-launch in events and such.

That's MyFaction. You have to grind like an obsessive-compulsive maniac to work up the points to buy JUST ONE PERSONA (Cheapest being Xavier Woods if I recall, for 75,000 points, and it's just the regular Xavier Woods you already have except he has Nintendo 64-quality polygons and textures) or you can spend THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of US dawlers on virtual currency to buy them with, which admittedly saves you a good amount of ABSOLUTELY, DISGUSTINGLY UNFAIR AND BLOOD-PRESSURE-MEGABLASTING game time, at the cost of a TON of overtime at work to make the money back in time to pay rent, groceries, your mortgage or whatever bills you have to pay outside of 2K's droit du seigneur.

So no I can't recommend you even entertain the notion of unlocking all those guys. Tough luck. Come back when you're in Trump's gazillionaire shoes.

Oh and also you have like just 6 months to do all that and then the servers go down and it's all gone FOREVER!

I don't have the time and especially no desire to grind for any items/ characters in games. That's why I bought the "40 years" edition... but it feels so "unsatisfying" when I go through the wrestler selection and see that every fifth wrestler still has to be unlocked.

After a bit of googling, it looks like it's probably only existing wrestlers with different outfits that you can unlock in "MyFaction".
I could live with that, but I still feel ripped off. Especially when I consider that this version normally costs 120 euros.

You got it cheap. Here in NZ the deluxe was $170, the 40 years was (iirc) $190.

Some people are buying the base game for $25 then the 40 Years upgrade for $10 and then the Wyatt pack for $10 = $45 total (I paid $55).

Yeah I paid 65.99 for base game and dlc when it was on sale. Its such a rip off because they take down the servers AND delist the game, (look up wwe2k23) it isnt even being sold on steam anymore. If you already purchased it then your account is a "rare" account with it. Same on PSN and xbox, me and my brother tried finding it and couldnt.
